Lebanon. The Board of Directors of the Lebanon Valley Economic Development Corporation met March 9, 2010 in a meeting chaired by Chairman Barry Ansel.
The Board elected Michael Fessler, Marketing Manager for UGI Utilities, Inc. as a Director.
The Board heard a presentation on the corporation’s 2009 Annual Report from President Charles Blankenship and Vice President Susan Eberly.
LVEDC’s activities in 2009 resulted in a beneficial impact in the valley economy through:
• $2,956,500 in LVEDC business loans • $58,356,500 in facilitation financing • $13,091,199 in leveraged investments • $73,547,699 in total capital investment • With 372 jobs impactedBlankenship also reported that the planning for the March 26th City Summit was proceeding well.
